1. A new couch - moving is hard, and it's nice to have a place to rest your tired bones.
2. Plants - they're cheap, they make your space look more homey, and they're good for the environment!
3. Pictures of loved ones - this one is pretty self-explanatory—you want to feel like you're not alone in this new place!
4. Decorations that reflect who you are - if you like to collect elephants, buy an elephant-themed decoration! The point is to feel like yourself in your new home, so go for it!
5. Furniture that makes sense for your space - maybe you don't need a couch if there's not room for one where you're living now.
